HolIday Party

Had a great time last night. Actually got a chance to wear some glitzy clothes, dress up, and paint the town red. Or, at least paint the Sabine Room of the Rennaissance Hotel red. Last night was our company party, and to date, one of the best ones.

We had a mixer where we had to guess from pictures different Christmas Songs (it was really hard!). Then dinner buffet which was quite tasty, and then 2004 Reflections. This was kind of new and different. We got to reflect not only 2004 work activities, but personal activities of our co-workers. This lent a "family" atmosphere, which was quite fun looking back at 2004. Afterwards, the DJ mixed up some music - slow, fast, salsa, rap, and anything else in between for us to get our grooves on.

And it was nice to see everyone spit-polished and shined up. Yes, we really CAN wear clothes that are not casual. And look pretty good as well.

Speaking of clothes - I actually spent more money than I should have but my satin pants are a size 6! (Did you hear me? SIZE 6!) And I bought a beaded top. Which, it's really nice to see such feminine-type clothes these days. So, after my spending spree, I will be re-wearing these clothes on New Year's!
