Go Ahead, Call Me An Expert

An expert Thank You Writer. After the funeral, Christmas and New Year's came roaring like a freight train. It's SCARY how fast time is flying by. So I'm taking advantage of my weekend to get caught up - I mean, FINISH, writing thank you's.

By the time I'm done, according to the last letter I've received from the Gatesville Public Library regarding donations, I will have written 80 Thank You's. 50 were for flowers sent to the funeral, and food provided by friends and the Methodist Church after the services. 30 will be for my personal thank you's and the monetary donations to the Library. Yep, quite a lot of writing.

So let me just tell you the best pen for writing Thank You's. It would be based upon a recommendation from Laurel: Stabilo's Sensor - a fine point black felt tip pin. Quite a nicely balanced writing implement. And still working after all those Thank You's.

So, please know, that I did use the same personal Thank You depending on what I was writing about. But all the cards sent were from my heart, and I meant the Thank You more than the words could express.

Writing Thank You's. It's an art, slowly fading from our standards of etiquette from society. And one I'm keeping up for tradition. Joanne instilled it in me.
