Will this require a trademark or patent?

This was Jimmy's idea, and I second the notion that this should be available for consumer use.

So we are driving down Duval - which, for the most part is a 2 lane street. And when the road narrowed into this 2 lane street, we watched as another car almost wouldn't let the car whose lane was merging come in as right of way into the one main lane. And it just annoyed the two of us. While I'm in favor of making hand signals and verbal comments from the privacy of my car below the dash, Jimmy would rather take a gun and "POW POW", deflate the tires of the cars and cause general damage.

But today, he mentioned that he wished he had a little dart gun that he could throw a little flag with a saying on the back end of the jackass' car in front of us. The little flag would have an appropriate saying like "Idiot", or "Jackass", or "I'm not really allowed to drive". And you could pick your flag of choice for whichever situation it called for.

Wonderful idea. Needs to be marketed to those of us who would love to throw these flags at the various idiots out there driving cars alongside us. But invariably, this is what would happen to me. Since I have no aim, and cannot throw farther or straighter than past my nose, I would hit the wrong car. And I'd be waving apologetically saying, "Sorry! Wrong car!" I meant it for the OTHER asshole!"
