Waiting pays

Miscellaneous errands today that included a trip to CompUSA to buy color printer ink cartridge. Looked at the printer model and everything, and still bought the wrong type. Went back, and waited in the longest customer service line EVER.

The manager finally noticed that I had been there for at least 20 minutes (I was 3rd in line!) and asked me what I needed at customer service. I replied to just return and replace the ink jet cartridge. He initially was going to swap out even-steven, but when he looked up the new cartridge, it was actually $10 less. So, he offered me another color cartridge (normally $25/each) for the $10 so we'd forego the refund.

Sure enough! I bought 2 color cartridges for $38, after tax. I saved about $18...waiting nicely DOES pay!

WTH is is with Comp USA?? Every single time I've been there, it has taken an act of God to get waited on - in any department. I feel your pain.
