Alaska

Yes, I'm safely home from the wilderness of Alaska. I tried to find the picture between me and James that best "represented" what Alaska was about, but I couldn't really find one to express it. Below, is a picture outside of Homer, "a drinking town famous for fishing". Yep - that's how they market their fair city. The view below is one of many glaciers that afforded us a beautiful view of majestic mountains and snow. It looks colder than it really is.

I had an unforgettable experience: I witnessed sea otters, Orca whales, puffins, a moose cow, and even a bald eagle. Not one bear. Which, is probably a good thing. More pictures to follow once I get the time and energy to get them in one place where I can share and make appropriate comments.
