There are 2 kinds of trick-or-treaters:
1. The parents accompany the kid(s) to your front door. The parent tells the kid to pick one candy. The kid reaches in for just one, and looks up at the parent as if afraid they are doing something wrong. You just KNOW that kid wants to take a handful and run.
2. The kids come to the front door with no parents. The parents are either waiting for the kids by the sidewalk, or have let the kids roam the ‘hood by themselves. When the candy bowl is offered, the kid takes as much candy in one swipe as they can possibly take. Then they run.

3. the kids get three to four pieces selected by the princess and put in their bag.
