Widescreen

I think I may have lost count on how many movies I saw over the Thanksgiving Holiday. So I'm going to start with the best one:

Walk The Line: Loved it. Love Johnny Cash. Admire June Carter Cash. Enjoyed the story of their relationship and the music of Johnny Cash.

The Skeleton Key: All I can say is Voodoo. Quite suspenseful, but a little hokey storyline that comes together at the end of the movie. Hate it when you finally get what the movie is about at the last 5 minutes of the movie.

House of Wax: I'm not much of a horror flick gal, but when you visit your niece and nephew who are in their late teens, it's what they prefer. This movie was just awful. The best part was when Paris Hilton's character got killed in the most gory manner.

Overboard: I think I saw this movie 20 years ago. Cute, but can you say 1980's bad hair?

The Godfather: I didn't get to watch but about an hour of this movie. I realized that I have never watched this movie, and now it's on my Must See Films list. It's a relatively short list since this movie started it.

Dude, Where's My Car: Thankfully, I only caught the last 10 minutes of this stupid movie. And realized why I never watched it to begin with.

Christmas with the Kranks: I read the book about 2 years ago. Didn't think it to be that great, and the movie wasn't either. It did pick up towards the end. Almost Christmas Carol-ish.

Whew. That was a lot of TV screen time this past week.

if you're gonna watch The Godfather then you have to watch The Godfather II. that's where they should have quit, tho. do not even bother watching III. if you saw it on it's own and you're a fan of such movies then you might like it. but seeing as they HAD to complete the triology with that one, it sucked.
