The Gift of Giving

One of the best parts of Christmas, besides the Christmas songs I listen to as soon as Thanksgiving ends, is the charitable giving. I absolutely love shopping for other people. This year, my office is providing for a family of Katrina. The mother, her daughter & son both live in Louisiana and the office solicited donations & certain items for the household that range from clothing, toys to any household items. I've had so much fun shopping for them. I have a special knack for buying cheap items for others (just ask Lori - always buy in twos!) and I like the game of finding things on major sale. I've really gotten into the Christmas spirit this year, and buying for others who need more than I do, makes me feel like I'm doing the right thing.
