Saturday Night Entertainment

Essentially, I'm doing absolutely nothing. Channel surfing seems to be my biggest focus this evening after my long week/month/year. So I stopped on VH1 as they are playing Grease, which was my all time favorite movie, when I was 8. Other than doing the hand-jive, and doing the duet Summer Lovin' by myself in 2 different voices, I also did a tap dance routine to Greased Lightnin'. Yes, this movie was a great influence in my life.

So, it amazes me as I watch it that the actors do not look like adolescent teenagers. A little investigative research on IMDB.com proves that the main actors: Olivia Newton-John, Travolta, and Stockard Channing were born in the mid-to-late forties & fifties. So, in 1978, they were all in their thirties. All I can say is that at 8, EVERYBODY looked old.
