After realizing I spend about $253 MONTHLY for cable/internet/phone/cell, I decided it was time for cost-cutting measures. (note, I still overspend regardless if I will be saving money on my data & digital services).
Time Warner Cable was (is?) offering the All-in-One services: Road Runner, Digital Cable, and Digital Phone. So, since I would be saving over $75 for 6 months, and then $35 thereafter, I decided to go for it.
So I now have DVR. ohmigod. I'm in love. I've recorded so far:
Real Simple
Everyday Foods
Central Texas Gardener

Law & Order: SVU
Criminal Intent
Oprah
I'm giddy with anticipation. Can you say NO COMMERCIALS ever again? I've already got a really great idea for a peanut dipping sauce with grilled chicken. Satay, anyone?

i am totally jealous that i am the only one left in the free world that does not have DVR...or even TIVO, for that matter!
