I need "girl's day" at the makeup counter. I'm watching QVC right now absolutely FASCINATED by the Bare Escentuals makeup. I'm sick and tired of my Clinique foundation. I feel that every time I look at myself in photos I've got the reddest face - with or without the alcohol I've imbibed.
It's time for a Bare Escentuals makeup counter takeover. I've just got to try some of their stuff.
the responsible me says that I should reward myself with a makeup product when I meet a certain weight goal. But I don't want to wait that long. Immediate gratification is what I believe in.

GET THE MAKEUP! it's the best purchase you'll ever make. i got my mom turned onto it, but she's still not a true believer. she still has to cake on the "other stuff" when she "dresses up".
con of the bare minerals: powder all over the damn countertop. it doesn't matter if you're neat or not, the residual of the powder on brush will still flake onto the countertop.
I started using this two years ago and it is so great...especially in the summer. It doesn't slide off my face when it gets sweaty or oily. I also like Philosphy's Supernatural powder foundation. I use it on days when I'm not going anywhere "important" and then I use the Bare Essentuals when I want a little more coverage.
