This is what I don't understand. Apple seems to have such lofty opinions of itself. Have you seen those commercials? The young hip "Mac" talking to the stodgy "PC". Mac is healthy while PC is sick with viruses, susceptible to crashes, and the blue screen of death.
okay, okay, granted - PC does have all those problems. But if Apple is so freakin' hip, why do you have to go back to the iTunes site to download a new version of iTunes rather than doing just a standard upgrade? Way uncool.
2 minutes later, and a failed attempt because its proprietary QuickTime didn't upgrade to the newest version, I'm having major Apple issues with my iTunes. My old version worked just fine without having to download the brand new version. I'm beginning to feel invaded.
