I'd like to thank the Academy....
I picked 15 out of the 24 categories.
Ones I missed:
Best Song: 3 Dreamgirls songs and a documentary song sung by Melissa Etheridge had to beat them all. I really thought the better chance would have gone to Randy Newman. I'll always have Short People as an earworm.
Best Picture. ugh. The Departed. I really wanted Letters of Iwo Jima to win this one. But I picked Little Miss Sunshine. You know, all the press it's been getting.
Foreign Language Film. I picked Pan's Labyrinth. Besides it being a great movie, it was the only FLF I saw. I do like my subtitles though.
Short Film (Live Action) & Short Film (Animated). Guessing these are a gamble anyway. And it annoys me that the general public never sees these anyway. But I've been told that iTunes is going to carry them.
Animated Feature. I picked Cars because it was the only one I saw.

Laberinto del Fauno (Pan's Labyrinth) was one of my favs also.
And who knew Clint Eastwood was bilingual?

how could you NOT pick The Departed to win?!?!? i'm so glad Scorcese finally won! he's been robbed so many times.
