The Pride is Alive!

I heard the best news this weekend:

Baylor beat A&M 35-34 on Saturday in Overtime. A&M is ranked 16th, Baylor I don't think is even ranked.

I was at Katie's wedding when I heard the news when the person on my right (one of the Bridesmaid's boyfriend) leaned over and asked me what school I went to. I'm sure he thought I was going to say UT. But I innocently said Baylor, and the guy about fell outta his chair. He informed me about the upset, and of course I didn't believe him. And since I was in Phoenix, I had NO ONE to share the good news with, so I went to another bridesmaid and her husband who both bleed orange, and I practically sang "That Good Old Baylor Line" and did my best Sic 'Em in a bridesmaid dress I could exhibit. I almost wrestled the mic from the DJ to make the announcement. And here I'm not a football fan.

Baylor last beat A&M in 1985. Now do you understand why I am beside myself with utter joy!?!
