Today, James & I were supposed to be in Washington, DC spending it with Laurel. I was supposed to have taken a Deltek class part of last week, and then James was going to fly in to DC, and then we were going to be tourons. But things just didn't turn out that way.
My Deltek class scheduled for December was cancelled. I had planned to take a Government Contracting class, which I had to cancel and take my Deltek class instead. And from there, it's where things started to go completely not as I had anticipated.
I went to my Deltek class Nov 17-19. On my way back to Austin on Nov. 19 during my layover in Hoston Intercontinental is when I got the news that Mom was going into the hospital. Saturday, Nov. 20 was James' birthday. Also the day I learned about the cancer. Thanksgiving, we were in the hospital having chemotherapy. Monday, Nov. 29 Mom passed away. Also Cash's birthday. Dec. 4 - funeral. And now here we are to December 19, Sunday night which should have seen us in DC. Funny how things can change on you in an instant.
But besides being Christmas this week, James & I celebrate 3 years together. December 22 is our anniversary.
