But doesn't it always feel good to get something done that you've put off doing for so long?

That would describe my feeling this evening as I FINALLY finish my Christmas thank yous. Now I've been in debate with a few people over this idea. Some say that there is no need to send a written thank you when you exchange gifts especially at Christmas. But I remember (somewhat too vividly) the pain of writing all those thank yous to those I received gifts from under the demand of Joanne that I do so.

It's just one of those ingrained things that I must do. But as everyone knows, I wrote 80 thank yous for funeral related kindness. And I was a bit thank-you'd-out. So even though I BELIEVED that I had reason to not send thank you's as timely as I should have, I've been feeling guilty since the beginning of the new year.

So tonight has absolved me of my guilt. Hallelujah.
