So this evening I'm locking up and making sure everything is shut down. And as I pass by the back door to the garage, I hear the sound of a cricket. And it sure does sound like it's indoors. I open the back door, and it stops. And then, as I begin to close the door, it's LOUDER! So loud that I thought it was an alarm going off somewhere!
But as I made a cursory sweep through the garage, it made itself known by jumping against the garage door. Which was the wrong thing for it to do. So I stepped on it. End of the alarm going off. Peace and quiet.
