Girl Trip 2005

We've been doing this since 1995. Thursday we left for Galveston and had lunch with my friend Tari who documented lunch on her blog.

My Schedule: Eat, Sleep, Eat some more, Sleep some more, get some sun, Drink, Eat, Drink some more, Sleep. (not necessarily in that order) Can you say just what the Dr. ordered? Like Steph said - I don't want to have to think about anything. And I didn't. Except when dinner was. Cozumel was "okay" - to me, just any other Mexican city. Except it had a beautiful ocean alongside it. We ate at a local restaurant, Palmeras, and met some new cruise friends who had family in Cozumel. They pointed us to Sol Cabanas del Caribe, a local hotel that was friendly and just what we needed with a quiet beach. Lori & I joined Steph who snorkeled. The view was complete with Mexican beer. Even though Tropical Storm/Hurricane Stan threatened our Saturday sailing (Dramamine really works!) it was a pretty fun girl trip.

Oh yeah - I have the cruise ship stumble today. Vertigo is a funny thing when you are trying to lose your sealegs when you get back on land!
