My good Tari is getting married. For the 7th (8th?) time, I'm going to be a bridesmaid. "Again" doesn't even begin to describe the countless times I've put on a never-to-be worn dress and witness the union of my good friends. But I must say that I've got a bit of background knowledge in the wedding department, and can even say truthfully that no friend of mine was a real "Bridezilla".
So imagine how surprised I was when I found out something new about weddings. At Tari's request, I was on http://weddingfavors.com/favors/home.php and came across Jordan almonds. Now, I'm a BIG fan of chocolate covered anything, but candied covered anything is not as interesting to me. But did you know that Jordan almonds represent "the bitter and sweet in a marriage"? If I am not going to gag on a Jordan almond, I almost gagged at that statement.
