Well, the Super Bowl came and went. I have to admit I was not so interested in it this year. Since I'm not particularly a fan of either team, I was only mildly interested in this game. It really was the Steelers game overall. Seahawks just couldn't complete a play to save their score.
So did you see any of the commercials? Most were pretty lame. Budweiser did pull out the Clydesdales, and the colt pulling the cart was pretty cute. The streaker was pretty funny. But I swear Bud had a new commercial showing in every break. Do they ever run out of ideas? The FedEx commercial in the Neanderthal ages was a new idea, but Pepsi's all sucked. Get P'diddy, Puff, Sean Combs, whatever he goes by, out of here. The "brown & bubbly" ad was totally lame and not even remotely funny. So my favorite this year was Careerbuilder. Even though the monkeys in the office was a repeat on an earlier commercial theme, the guy talking to the girl who worked with a bunch of jackasses was pretty funny.
So there, that's it. That was about all of the consumerism I could take at last night's game.
