Good to Get Home

Tari - I had a wonderful weekend. I really enjoy getting to hang out with you & Handyman. The new house is great, it looks like you guys are settling in. Sunday's cookout was fun and I enjoyed getting to see Ronnie and her family. The girls' Dance Off was pretty funny. And truthfully, I only wanted to see Roll Bounce cuz Ronnie said I'd like it! Sho' nuff, I did!

Memorial Day was a good day. A good day for remembering those who've fallen fighting for our country. I had 2 grandfathers who fought - one in WWI as a doughboy, the other in WWII. I'm thankful they both were able to come home and be with their families. Both men had important parts in my life. I also bought poppies from the VFW gentleman.

Riding bikes was fun, getting to see how the other half lives. Just remember - money cannot buy taste! Powder blue as the color of your mini-mansion is just wrong, and the HOA has a duty to rectify that atrocity! Also, thank you for not killing my ego any further by having sympathy at my klutziness on the stairwell. No Steph, that step wasn't wet, it was carpeted, it's just that I couldn't see it! And no alcohol involved so I have no good excuse.

Ibuprofen has been my friend today when we went on another wedding dress shopping spree. I still say go back to Dresses-R-Us, or Loud Dresses Are Kool, or Pageants-To-Go, whatever that store was and buy that $150 dress. It still looked the best. Don't get swayed by the pretty beads! FOCUS!

It was real, it was fun, but, I'm glad to get home, because when I filled up for gas today, at one of the lowest gas pumps in your area, I almost passed out, and not from the gas fumes either.
