I made a spontaneous purchase on Amazon (a book & pedometer), which, spontaneous in my dictionary means impulsive, and therefore relates to instant gratification. Well, I was sorta misled by Amazon, and my items I purchased 2 weeks ago that I thought I'd get within 5 days, actually shipped yesterday.
So when I went to the Amazon link for "where's my stuff" to track the package, it says it left Mesquite, TX this evening at 5:39pm, for estimated arrival date December 1. WTF?!? Is it walking to Austin with a stop in Waco for Thanksgiving dinner?

Having to wait almost a month for your stuff is f'ing insane. Someone in Amazon's customer service should feel your angst.
that IS insane! i've never had to wait that long for anything from amazon. unless it was on back order or something.
maybe, since they could sense it was an impulse buy, they were giving you time to change your mind....???
