The name for the yellow & black garden spider hanging out in my backyard. This is a zoomed in photo because I was too scared to get any closer to it. I noticed that the birds in the backyard were making a lot of activity, as well as a cicada that was getting hypnotized by the zigzag spider web design. This site gave me some useful knowledge to identify the spider. Her web (yes, it's a she as the bigger ones are female) spans from the side of the house to the shrubbery.
Impressive.
