Photos from my trip to San Antonio for my ASWA Accounting Conference. Of course, the Spurs were winning the NBA National Title Thursday night causing relatively little sleep. Thank you to the drunken idiot at 2:51 am for the rousing "GO SPURS GO". The pictures at top left were from my lunchtime walk down the Riverwalk, apparently with no tourists at this time of day. They prefer to come out when it's hotter to see the sights. The other pics are from my 14th floor balcony. And yes, I'm afraid of heights. I get vertigo when I'm up that high looking down. I have to have something as a foundation for me to keep my balance. So, I'm clutching the railing and leaning against a patio chair while taking these shots. I enjoyed my trip to San Antonio. Just reminds me that James & I need to get back here and see the sights. I liked the Holiday Inn location as it was on the end of the Riverwalk, therefore, a little aways from the hustle & bustle of all the tourists and commercialism. The rooms were nice, staff pleasant, and ignoring the lack of sleep, a hotel I would revisit not only to the location, but the ease which to find it from I-35, and leaving back home to Austin.
